CRS 3 Graduation
Wednesday, November 30, 2011

FTA is proud to announce the recent graduation of its latest helicopter training course from the China Rescue & Salvage Bureau (CRS).  The three cadets will soon commence their operational search and rescue duties in the People’s Republic of China.

The graduation ceremony was attended by a large delegation from the CRS, which included Director-General Capt. Song Jiahui.   As part of the ceremony, Capt. Song Jiahui and FTA’s CEO, Mr Pine Pienaar, planted a tree outside the FTA helicopter section to symbolise the close ties between the two organisations.

During the graduation Pine commented: 'It is an absolute honour for us to host such an important ceremony and to have such a large and distinguished delegation from the CRS at FTA.  We say good bye to these fantastic cadets who, have not only proven to be outstanding aviators, but have become part of the FTA family.  They will be greatly missed.  As we say our farewell to the CRS 3 cadets, we welcome the fourth course from the CRS who will commence training towards the end of this year.  I would also like to extend my personal gratitude to Capt. Song Jiahui for his continued support of FTA'.
